Take the same ten minutes
A short circuit from the door, timed to the middle of the day, collects the available daylight and closes the morning. The loop’s ordinariness is the feature; no decision is required, only departure.
Walk at conversation pace, coat unzipped after the first corner. The loop is a walk, not a workout, and its effects arrive as afternoon comfort rather than fatigue.
Return to a standing desk minute
End the loop with a minute of standing, weight shifting, before sitting again. The transition back is where the benefit is banked; sitting immediately lends the spine the walk’s posture and reclaims nothing.
Note the weather in the margin of the day’s list. Winter noons are counted in light, and counted light is morale.
